Using PowerPoint: Getting Started
- PowerPoint Window: Standard, Formatting and Drawing Toolbar,
Outline and Slides Tabs, View Buttons, Slides and Notes Pane,
Task Pane
- Using File>New>AutoContent Wizard
- Creating a blank presentation; choosing a slide layout
- Saving a presentation;opening a presentation; quickly
opening a presentation you recently worked with; closing a
presentation.
- Outline view,Slides View; Normal view, Slide sorter view,
Slide show from current slide;
- Send a presentation through email
Using PowerPoint: Edit Slides
- Select text: a word, a proposition, a bullet, a whole slice,
all document.
- Insert text in a slice or outline: regular text or bullets;
AutoFit Options button.
- Delete text: Delete, Backspace; Undo, Redo.
- Move or copy text: drag-and-drop, toolbar, keyboard
shortcuts; Paste Option
- Check spelling
- Add a new slide; Slide Layout;
Using PowerPoint: Add objects to slides
- Using the Slide Layout to choose the right layout for the
object you want to add.
- AutoShapes: add, move, rotate, delete; add text to
AutoShapes; the green (rotate) and yellow (reshape) dots.
- WordArt: add, move, rotate, edit, delete; WordArt toolbar.
- Picture: add, rotate, resize, delete; Picture toolbar.
- ClipArt: add, rotate, resize, delete; Picture toolbar
